-RUN NORGE PÅ LANGS 2022-

Our hardest adventure film project so far, which consists of 3 phases. The first phase, which was a successful attempt do the historically first, clean trail run across the pathless wilderness of Norway, was finished on October 10th 2022. The new 3000 km long wild trail connecting many of the best areas of this wonderful country was established and about 240 hours of raw authentic film footage was filmed during this insane trip. Other 2 phases are yet to be done.

„Norge på langs“ means „The length of Norway“. It’s a legendary adventure and a dream of every active Norwegian. However, just a few people ever dare to fulfill it. There is only one rule. To get from Lindesnes lighthouse in the very south of Norway to the northernmost point of the country, fabled Nordkapp, using only your own power. It doesn’t matter which way or direction you choose. Whether you walk on the road or follow mountain trails, go by bike or sea kayak, that’s completely up to you. On foot it usually takes from 4 up to 6 months. So far (June 2022) only two people have run it. The runners ran only through civilisation, on the asphalt roads full of cars, nonstop supported by their teams, and they took the shortest possible way, which was 2550 km. Very good sport achievement, but… Our aim and „perception of an adventure“ is totally different.

Filmmaker Petr decided to do the first really clean wilderness run crossing of Norway ever. Supported by his friend Radka, he will run alone. His goal is to find and establish the most beautiful path across of Norway. He will run 3000 km through cold unknown mountains, gruelling wetlands with billions of mosquitoes, across the never ending subarctic plateaus. Very often in pure pathless wilderness far from civilization. He will also try to climb 7 iconic Norwegian mountains. His immodest goal, beside very authentic daily documentation, is to produce the best trail running film and film series ever made about an adventure like this and make this new wilderness trail known and popular world-wide. Join the story…

-NpL PRoject PHASES-

PHASE 1

RUNNING, FILMING, CREATIND DETAILED MAPS

The new, 2963 km long route already exists. Petr managed to climb all the selected iconic mountains, he was able to stay in Norway all the time, and kept asphalt under 1 km (he had to cross the asphalt roads about 70 times). Every day he filmed several hours of footage using 5 different cameras. He also mapped every day using 2 different precise GPS devices. These maps can already be found the the NPL website in the section BLOG

PHASE 2

EDITING THE MAIN NPL FILM AND FILM SERIES + CREATING DETAILED ON-LINE GUIDE

We are currently working on getting finances for this long and extremely demanding post-processing process. We believe, that this story and footage have the potential to become at least some the very best adventure trail-running films and film series ever. Together with detailed on-line guide, it will be used for the the phase 3. If you want to become a visible part of this project, please do not hesitate to contact us!

PHASE 3

WORLD-WIDE PROMOTION OF NPL TRAIL

With the help of the new NPL film and film series, as well as the detailed NPL guide, we start to promote this incredible adventure from the Norwegian wilderness world-wide. We strongly believe, that NPL can become the European equivalent of the famou PCT trail in the USA. Just harder and nicer.
